As we round the final turn and head down the home stretch, Diane L comes romping home with her second victory of the meet, beating three others by a nose. Notorius for picking all favorites, she went way out on a limb this week by putting 1 and 2 points on slight underdogs (Bills and Patriots). The strategy paid off, as she hit the winner's circle and collected the big purse. Rob E survived a thrilling photo finish for 2nd Place, as two others (Howard and Heather) hit the wire at the same time. The judges painted a nose on Rob's horse due to the better pedigree of his tiebreaker score. Nora C picked up the Quinella, as her Monday Night score was almost a Perfecta.
