Incredible! Miraculous! How could that possibly happen?! The Falcons were totally dominating the game and up by a
score of 28-3 late in the third quarter and were a 99.8% lock to win the game. Then some really wierd things happened.
In a combination of lucky bounces, incredible timing, stupid penalties and superb play, the Patriots scored 25 unanswered
points to tie the game with a minute left on the clock. Then in overtime they drove the length of the field to score the
winning touchdwn. The biggest comeback in Super Bowl history! The only overtime game in Super Bowl history!
What a game!
And WHO is the only person DANCING in the streets of Atlanta today? That's right . . . Deanna S (our Atlanta
resident and ex-Falcons fan) looked into her crystal ball and picked the Patriots to beat her hometown team, thereby
completing a perfect scorecard for the playoffs (11 games, 11 winners) and picking up the Grand Prize!
Congrats to Deanna for her Playoff Perfecto!
Wandering the hallways of Cornell University, Tyler L is scratching his head trying to figure out what went wrong after
losing only one measly point in Week 1 of the playoffs . . . I'm thinking the 2nd Place prize will go a long way toward soothing his
nerves. Somewhere in Anaheim Hills, Keith L is still picking up the pieces of his shattered TV remote, as he mutters to himself "No way that happened! . . .*#!@%! Brady . . . !*%@! Belichick!" We'll get 'em next year, Keither.
Noralee C, our big winner of the year (and Monday Night score guru), worked her magic again and picked up the
Super Bowl score prize to cap off an absolutely tremendous year.
Thanks to all for playing this year! Lookin' forward to seeing you all again next fall!
