2016 Week 9 Return to 2016 Past Results
"Reverse the Curse!", "This is the Year!", "The Future Is Now!", "It's Gonna Happen!". Just as the Chicago Cubs have been chanting these things for years, so has NoraLee C been waiting for that elusive First Place win for a long, long time. Well . . . the curse has DEFINITELY been reversed . . . for the Cubs and for Nora! In the last several weeks she has won the First Place prize TWICE and she has also picked up a 2nd Place prize and a Monday Nighter to boot! And while she doesn't have 5 million people lining her parade route, she deserves a tip of the hat from our pool fans for her biggest year in the last century! Howard M feels a bit like the Cleveland Indians, as he actually tied Nora for the top prize, but lost out on the tiebreaker and had to settle for the runner up spot. Longtime members of the "So-Close-And-Yet-So-Far Club", Keith L and Tyler L again missed by an eyelash and were last seen muttering to themselves, "We'll get 'em next week."
